T’was the Fish Crick Kicker
Went camping this weekend up at Peninsula State Park in Door County, WI. There were eight of us — me, Justin, Chris and Bridget, and two other couples (friends of Chris).
We left early Friday afternoon and got to the camp site around 6-ish or so. Took things easy that night, just sat around the fire and cooked some dawgs.
Saturday we had a leisurely breakfast then went for a bike ride through the park. Justin and I (rather, I) managed to go only 7.6 miles. We made it to the lighthouse but couldn’t get up the hill to visit the tower, so we turned back and hung around the campfire for the rest of the night. We got some rain later in the afternoon on Saturday, but not enough to put a damper on the evening.
We left early on Sunday and made it home with enough time for a nap before the Bears game. It was a fun time — we don’t go camping nearly enough.
