In list form: What I’ve been doing lately

Things I’ve done in the past few weeks month:

  • Went bowling for both Lynn and Ben’s birthdays
  • Went roller skating (Lynn’s birthday)
  • Ate at Bill’s Pub (Lynn’s birthday again)
  • Went to Toynk (got an Invader Zim figure)
  • Ate at Kuma’s (had the Mastodon with chicken)
  • Pool party at my aunt’s, to celebrate Fourth of July-slash-cousin’s high school graduation
  • Saw some fireworks
  • Saw my sister and brother-in law for the first time in a year — they were in town from Seattle
  • Hung out at Scoopin’ Genesee (twice)
  • Went Geocaching
  • Ate at Fong’s Kitchen
  • Saw The Dark Knight three times, including a midnight show and an Imax show

Things I’m going to do in the next few weeks:

In other news… I really wish the Wordpress iPhone app would work for me. It crashes when I try to set up my blog. Not fair.

Superman: The Ultimate Flight

Tonight was the “Family Preview Night” at Six Flags Great America — the park officially opens next weekend. Lynn got tickets for Justin and me.

The first ride we got on was Superman.

After this, we rode the Raging Bull, the Eagle, and the Demon (make sure to visit the Demon Myspace page to hear the totally awesome soundtrack).

This video is edited together from two different videos I took on the ride. I had my fingers over a good part of the first video, and I lost my grip on the camera in the second. So… sorry it’s kind of choppy.

Make sure to visit the ride over on Myspace

Raging Bull

Raging Bull is my favorite ride at Six Flags, so of course it’s the first one we ride on the first day of the season.

Opening Day

Today was opening day at Six Flags Great America. I live right down the street, and because I charge a lot on my Six Flags credit card, I always get a free season pass.

Today was kind of cold and rainy, but that didn’t stop us from hitting the park for a while.
