Hypocrites redux

Kind of a follow-up to this post

The dead bush is still there, rotting away under the tree. It’s been there for well over a month now, probably closer to six weeks.

This is what the retention pond out back looks like:

I’m pretty sure that’s from the landscapers dumping the clippings in the pond. Some of it is pond scum, but it’ll be mostly clear one day and then look like this the next, usually after the mowers came out.

And look, we can sit on our patio in the shade now:

You can see how Justin’s mom is sitting all hunched over; the branch is overhanging the only section of the patio we can put our table (because the grill had to be moved, it wasn’t placed in the correct spot on our patio).

But I better hurry up and get rid of all but two of my planters because the pleasing aesthetic of the neighborhood is top priority!

Hypocrites

If the homeowner’s association is so worried about the aesthetics of
the community, why has this uprooted dead bush been out back for weeks?
