Using Fontifier, I was able to create a font from my own handwriting. Vain, yes… but pretty neat.

Click the preview image below to download the font.

To install on Windows:

• Double-click the Fonts icon in the Control Panels folder.
• Drag the font file into the Fonts window to install your font.

To install on MacOS X 10.3 or later:

• Double-click the font file. A sample of your font will be displayed.
• Click the Install Font button to install your font.

I’m going to do Justin’s handwriting next. It takes a bit of tweaking in Photoshop to get the fonts looking good and all lined up nicely, since both of our handwriting isn’t perfectly even.

Okay, if you haven’t done so already, go subscribe to the JstreetRADIO podcast. It’s a podcast of the JstreetRADIO show that broadcasts every Thursday night on 98.3FM, located out of Lake County, IL. There’s usually an interview with a local band or some other people of interest in the area, and of course some music from local bands.

Why do I keep mentioning this? Well, first of all Jesse is a friend, so of course I’d mention it. Second — well, I’d hesitate to say that I’m part of the “scene” because I hate that phrase — but I’m frequently in contact with various area bands (even consider some of ‘em friends), but duh … I take band photos and have taken photos of many of the bands that are played on the show. Third … well, I put together the latest podcast for Jesse.

I don’t often go to garage sales; most of them are pretty lame unless you are looking for old baby crap. For some reason I got the urge to hit up a garage sale yesterday. I’m extremely glad that I did, since I snagged some pretty awesome stuff.
