On the heels of my previous post, I bring you news of all that is unholy …
… a remake of Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure.
The premise of the movie is exactly the same, except:
[...] the film has been updated for the audience of today – there’s a few less “Whoa’s” than there was in the original, and the screenwriter has gone out of his way to throw in a bunch of references to all the cool and hip stuff the youngin’s are into today.
Shoot. Me. Now.

Oh hell no. They’re remaking Short Circuit.
Foster, who produced the original with his partner Lawrence Turman and son Gary Foster, said the film will be similar in theme to the original, but it will factor in advances in technology.
That’s code for “this movie is gonna suck.”
What’s up with everyone cashing in on all the classic from the 80s? Is nothing sacred anymore?
