Holy blog of doom, Batman!
Good Gravy! I just climbed out from under my rock and realized that I have not updated since people stopped clapping and Tinkerbell died. You would not believe how heavy that rock really is. I prostrate myself in sorrow and beg thy forgiveness..
I am absolutely consumed with my brahs, watching Dexter, just generally being a biatch to society in general. My day drifts aimlessly from the first cockadoodledoo from the rooster till I run out of alcohol. I am wearing my budgie smugglers. I need a nap.
I absolutely, positively promise I will update you with my nefarious activities as soon as I get a chance. Seriously! Unless of course the pool with the cocktail bar is heated!
three-day weekend
As per the norm, we went to my aunt’s house for their annual 4th of July party. This year my uncle was in town. It’s been many, many years since I saw him last (I want to say 2002).
Crazy bunch of mo-fos.
Again, as per the norm, we went to Mundelein for the fireworks. The finale was just as good as usual, but a bit short.
In other news… wish me luck. Tomorrow (Monday) I’m starting the Fat Smash Diet.
Did I mention that I went to Japan?
Well, I did.
My sister and her husband live in Sasebo, and back in April my mom and I went to visit. We were there for about nine days, which was totally not enough time to see and do everything I wanted. So I need to go back. I’d like to spend some time in Tokyo.
I had monkeys climb on me.
I stood where the atomic bomb dropped in Nagasaki.
Went on a boat tour of the area.
I tasted habu-sake – kudos to my mom who downed a whole shot. I don’t have any photos on Flickr to post here, but I dare you to do a Google image search.
