Saturday (10/22) was World Toy Camera Day. I had big plans to go out shooting — maybe hit Six Flags and then to the Twenty Four Frames show.
Well. The weather was crappy (cold, rainy and dark) and I ended up having to spend a good chunk of what little daylight we have at the office (I was on-call).
I only managed to get one roll of film shot. I took four photos in my Diana (two came out) and then switched the film to my Holga to finish it out, since it has a working flash.
If you click the photo you can see all the other photos from that day. I have until the 5th of November to decide which one I want to enter in the contest.

My most recent infatuation is with polaroid manipulation. This is one of the first emulsion lifts I did … not the greatest subject matter, but I wasn’t about to sacrifice one of my good photos for a test.
I also did some image tranfers, but those aren’t as fun (IMO).
Too bad it’s such an expensive hobby.

I had some fun playing with water today. Out of about 150 shots I only got around six keepers. You can click on the image above to see them all.

Saturday we went over to Chris and Bridget’s house for pizza and movies … and not just any old movies, but old 8mm movies that she bought off of eBay.
The best one of the night was titled Dog Show. Here’s a clip.
