I’m sure you’re saying “Damnit! Stop with the time lapse videos already!”

Sorry. I like ‘em.

flea market camera

I picked up a Polaroid Land Camera — a Square Shooter 2 — at a church rummage sale today. I think the price came to about $0.10. It’s a bit dirty and messed up (the batteries leaked inside it) so I tried to clean it up a little.

The Sims 2

So the long awaited arrival of The Sims 2 for the Mac is here (well, long awaited by me). The ‘official’ release date was the 16th, but I managed to get a copy at the Apple store last Friday (the 10th).

One cool new feature of the game is that you can take videos during gameplay. So enjoy.

poolside geek

Instead of going swimming I sat by the poolside and played The Sims 2.

Would you blame me? It was warm, but overcast and drizzling off-and-on, and the water was c-c-ccoooollldd.

Mexican jumping beans

Justin’s sister has been attending school in Mexico for the past six months, but she came home today. Her souvenir gift to him was a packet of Mexican jumping beans.

I actually had some as a kid; I distinctly remember seeing them being sold at Walgreens. Justin has never seen them before.

Blogger comments

Maybe I should mention something. I have a Blogger account but I use it only to update my concert photography site. I use Movable Type here and also on my photoblog.

The reason I mention this is that a lot of you videoblogging people use Blogger or BlogSpot for your vlogs … and when I leave a comment I use my Blogger account. Which — if you view my profile — has no association with this site.

So just in case anyone was all, “who the fuck is this chick?” … it’s me.
