Sunday evening …

Wow, two videos in one day! Not that they’re the greatest; I had decided to play around with my Aiptek PocketCamX, which produces shitty video but is small and can be easily hidden. I just need to use a larger SD card in it. I can only get about 1.5 minutes of video on the 16MB card I use now.

Anyway, on Sunday evenings J. and I go to his parents’ house to watch Deadwood (and Six Feet Under and Sopranos when they’re on). We have cable at home but don’t have HBO; that might actually change soon.

the mall experience

I’m not too good at covert operations. That, and there was nothing too interesting to record.

nothing, really

iMovie is being an ass tonight, and I’m bored waiting for J. to get home so we can go eat.

What’s in my bag?

I’m facinated by the whole whatsinyourbag tag over at Flickr. I’ve posted up a photo there, but I thought it would be interesting to do a video version of it. It’s fairly long (over 12 minutes) so I apologize for that. I just have a lot of crap in my bag.

If anyone else does one, can you link to it here so I can see what’s in your bag?

This is the first time in a while I’ve used the iSight to record a video. I’m a bit disappointed in the quality. The focus was off and everything seems blurry.

in development …

Not that anyone regularly visits or anything, but I’ve changed the video format. I discovered that the videos I’ve posted (which were exported straight out of iMovie) got all kinds of messed up if I reencoded them for the PSP. And not that anyone who downloads them would necessarily watch them on a PSP, but it was bugging me.

I found a magic procedure to keep that from happening. It adds a second step to the video-making process, and I’m still not 100% sure on the export setting and stuff, but … eh. It’ll do, I guess.
